OUR STORY

My name is Chris and I own Gator’s Sports Bar. Gator’s allows me the opportunity to combine my love of sports, hospitality and great food to serve sports bar lovers from all over at my place in the neighborhood of Kent, Washington.

Before Gator’s, I opened The No Bull Saloon in Renton in 1994. It was here that I developed a belief that remains today: everyone should feel a warm and welcoming atmosphere that allows both customers and staff to enjoy ourselves.

A FAMILY TRADITION

Our food, quality, cleanliness and fun, energetic atmosphere is a family philosophy passed down from my grandparents who emigrated from Greece to Washington in the early 1900’s. They owned and operated many restaurants and bars in the area, including The Sapho Cafe in downtown Seattle. My grandfather is pictured behind the bar.

2000 GRAND OPENING

My dad and I believed the Kent Valley was in need of a sports bar with great food. The family tradition continued when we opened Gator’s in April 2000.  We take pride in our homemade soups, dressings, and sauces that you won’t find anywhere else. Our chili is a family recipe from 1965, and has been on our menu since day one in honor of my dad who taught me so much about life and this business.
