My family has been in the bar and restaurant business since my grandparents immigrated from Greece in the early 1900's. My father, Greg Pallis, owned and operated establishments beginning in the early 1960's through the late 1970's. It has always been a dream of mine to own a sports bar; however, my parents tried to steer me in another direction. Finally, in 1994, after graduating from the University of Washington and unhappily working in the corporate world, I convinced my father to open a small neighborhood pub with me.
Boy, what an eye opener! I quickly learned why my parents wanted me to choose a different career path. With that said, I truly embraced the challenge of starting a small business from the ground up and was willing to do anything to make our venture successful. Between my fathers experience and my youthful exuberance, we built a successful business. We had no choice, money was tight! Although it was extremely difficult, I realized that the bar and restaurant business was in my blood and that we needed to expand. In 1999 we took advantage of an opportunity in Kent and purchased what is now called Gator's!Gator's opened in the spring of 2000 and the Kent valley was changed forever. Finally, a truly unique sports bar arrived to Kent! Our sports bar atmosphere is fun and energetic and our Down Home Cookin' is second to none. It soars above any other sports bar in town! At breakfast, lunch or dinner, we offer the best quality and best value. Whether you are here for a quiet breakfast, a business lunch or after work party, Gator's is the place for you. So come and join us for the best food and neighborhood hospitality around!
